Renée Reichert, known for her lush velvety pastels, has received numerous awards for her artwork, including a Certificate of Merit from the Society of Illustrators.  Her work can be seen in Spectrum 8: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art, newspapers, and magazines.  She has also illustrated for a variety of greeting card publishers. She illustrated the well-known song, The Cat Came Back (Roaring Brook, 2005).
