Katherine Tillotson is an award winning designer and has been illustrating for the past fifteen years. Her illustrations have been described as "jewel-toned," with a "sense of liveliness and motion" and can be seen in Nice Try, Tooth Fairy by Mary Olson (Simon & Schuster, 2000) and Night Train by Caroline Stutson (Roaring Brook, 2002). Katherine Tillotson illustrated Penguin and Little Blue (Simon & Schuster, 2003), When the Library Lights Go Out (Simon & Schuster, 2005) and It's Picture Day Today (Simon & Schuster, 2008) all by author Megan McDonald and Richard Jackson Books.
