Alicia Padrón is known for creating sweet and innocent characters in a soft sensitive style. She is the illustrator of ABC, Baby Me! (Robin Corey Books, 2010); Brush, Brush, Brush! (Scholastic, 2010); and The Birthday Bears (Pickwick Press, 2010). After earning a degree in Graphic Design she followed her true passion for children's books and attended the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, where she refined her skills as an illustrator. All of her artwork is rendered in watercolor and finalized digitally. Now she spends her days illustrating in her home studio in Venezuela, where she resides with her husband and two kids.
